The Triple-decker chess set is an innovation recently launched by TheChessPiece.com and is exclusive to this store. 

Many of our fine staunton chess sets are offered in a selection of different woods; the most cherished being red sandalwood and ebony; with the white pieces almost always being made of boxwood. The triple-decker chess sets offers three chess sets in one and is supplied in our specially designed leather case which has three trays holding the individual sets of boxwood, ebony and red sandal wood pieces.

In addition to the beautiful chessmen, included in the price is our case which holds all three sets of pieces.There's also our optional chessboard, which is double-sided and designed for the purpose so that a player can determine the best landscape; ebony and boxwood squares or ebony and red sandal wood squares.

Depending on which pieces you want to use you simply flip to the side of the chessboard that you prefer! This luxury chessboard measures 23" x 23" and has squares of 2 3/8" and is made of solid woods (not veneers).

This luxury chess set has been used on board one at two recent chess events. The American Open in Los Angeles, The North American Open in Nevada and also the Western Class Championships in Agoura Hills.
