Originally exclusive to TheChessPiece.com this superb wooden finished magnetic chess set was designed by us in conjunction with Chopra for the chess mentor and trainer but is of course extremely suitable as a high-end travel chess set. Featuring very distinguishable pieces, this 10" X 10" set is extremely portable and yet can be used for chess study to follow other players' moves when at a club or tournament. The magnets chosen were designed to allow the board to be turned fully vertically and not fall off- great for an aeroplane or boat trip!



The pieces fit snugly in a felt drawer which prevents them from moving around and breaking. In addition the slots ensure that no pieces get lost when packing it up after a game. Something we designed in after receiving so many calls from people with chess piece chewing dogs!

The King is 2 1/4" tall and has a felt green bottom which covers the powerful embedded magnet. The manufacture and the finish of this set is superb.
