This brand new exclusive design features a new leather chess case that has been thoroughly thought about when designed by TheChessPiece.com. It's modern and yet robust construction will provide many years of use by chess players who need to frequently move their cherished set from location to location. The case has two internal trays, one fixed in the base the other which can be removed to allow access to underneath as shown:

The internal top tray is removable to allow access to the fixed base tray.

Here's a picture showing the clean, modern and stylish interior which has beed designed to accommodate Staunton pattern chess pieces with up to a 4.4" King with additional queens. Each slot in the case has been designed to follow the profile of each chess piece, so the slot for the knight looks like the knight, etc.

The interior of this case comprises two trays which accommodate the opposing sets of chess pieces.

The hinges are completely covered and non-rustable internally so the lining will not spoil over time. The stitching extends to the rear to ensure that the side pieces are not going to peel or split while also adding strength. The latch features a real lock and key mechanism with a chrome non-tarnishable finish. The beautiful mottled leather finish ensures that fingerprints will not show up every time that this case is opened, while also being very easy to clean with just a damp cloth.

The key suppl;ied is an actual key...the stictching shown shows the areas where attention has been paid to provide added strength.

The picture above shows the rear of this case detailing the stitching and center strap which runs right to the base of the case providing additional strength. Finally there is a strong molded handle which is bolted internally with added reinfirment plate. This will carry the heaviest of chess sets without there ever being a problem!
