Beautifully carved in camel bone this Collector's set features a 4.5" King. The bases of the pieces have green felt pads (used traditionally in carved camel bone chess sets) and range in diameter from 1 3/8" (King), 1 1/8" (Rook) and 1" (Pawn). This is an extremely high quality set although the design is of earlier origin.

By closely looking at the ivory white pieces you will see the slight color variations in the bone- this is a tell tale sign that these chess pieces are made of real bone.
