We are proud to bring you this 7" set of chess men carved in pure ebony and boxwood combo and depicting the best in Indian artistry.One side features Alexander the Great (Sikander) and the other features the Indian king Porus. The pawns of both the armies have traditional dresses of their respective ages.

Here's a number of individual pieces:

 

 A delicately carved elephant chess piece.  The horse chess piece is carved out of a single piece of wood and attached to the base.  The camel chess piece carved in boxwood.


The base diameter of the largest piece, Alexander, is 1 7/8" and all pieces have felt slides. These chess pieces are supplied in a sturdy cardboard box, so all the value is in the pieces.
