This flat rounded edge series of chess boards are well suited to some of our more hand-carved decoration and luxurious Staunton sets. These boards have been very well hand crafted and finished and will add significantly to the overall appearance of a quality chess set. The finish is in a beeswaxed lacquer which provides an excellent sheen. 

There are two types of board the rosewood version shown above and the sheesham wood version shown below:

Square Sizes:

The 17" x 17" boards have a square size of 1.75" and is typically suited to pieces having a King base size of 1.5"

The 15" x 15" boards have a square size of 1.5" and is typically suited to pieces having a King base size of 1.25".
