A rich, triple weighted set carved in rosewood with leather pads and featuring a classic and traditional knight.

The richness of the colors and sheen of the finish makes this set the envy of many. This chess set has a 4.25" king (including finial) which is wonderfully carved and has a delicately cut complimentary Queen's coronet. The King's weight is 3.4 ounces and base diameter is 1.75". This chess set is shown pictured on the optional 21" x 21" Executive sheeshamwood chess board. We selected this board because it enhances the complimentaru colors of the different wood grains. Although it's purely personal opinion we prefer to select a fine wooden chess board which isn't the same color as the pieces as this can cause the pieces to become 'drowned' on the board.
