The fine Italian wood and the black pressed leather of this chess board has a gold inlay rails which make it a perfect choice to go along with almost any type of brass chess pieces. This chessboard is made by Italfama and provides excellent craftsmanship and great value. It measures 15.5 x 15.5 in. The squares are 1.75 in. We think this makes a great match for a number of our metal chess pieces.

The King diameter of the chess pieces should not exceed 1 1/2" otherwise the board could appear over-crowded.
