This set of chess pieces was purchased from us and used in the US Television Series Fringe on Fox TV network a few years ago. It was used by guest Actor Leonard Nimoy who was loved by many, including notably Star Trek fans.

This is a magnificent solid brass chess set patinad in an attractive red and green combination and features a king size of 14 cms (nearly 5.5") with King base diameter of 1 7/8". We recommend a chessboard with square size of 2 1/2" to do justice to this set such as the one shown.

Given the classic nature of this set a discerning buyer may consider making his own chessboard using 2.5 to 3" tiles. In that scenario these grand chessmen can be placed on a chessboard that fits in very well with the color scheme/design of the space it is to be placed, such as a courtyard.
