Most orders are shipped same day by UPS Ground or USPS directly from our climate-controlled warehouse in Florida. You decide the method you would like to use whether this be Ground, Priority, International Priority or Express (and other options) during the checkout procedure. You will receive an automatic email notification from UPS and/or USPS when it ships and will have a tracking reference so you can monitor the delivery process.
When selecting UPS we recommend and will always greatly appreciate you arranging delivery to your place of work. i.e. a commercial location. This saves us high residential surcharges and help us maintain free shipping on many orders as well as ensuring that you do not have to be home to accept a signed delivery.
Orders over $150 are shipped free within the contiguous United States by UPS Ground or USPS depending on the total weight of the items ordered. Other free shipping promotions may be offered from time to time but will only apply to the contiguous US. The shipping charge is a discount on the sale and may be charged if the item is returned to us for a full credit for any reason other than the wrong item being shipped.
Most orders are shipped same day the order is received but may be within 1-2 business days of your order being placed including most computers, standard chess sets and other chess related goods. Our exquisite Camel bone sets may take up to 28 days for delivery if they are not in stock in our Florida warehouse. When you place your order for a custom item and if an immediate delivery is required we would appreciate your confirmation in the additional order details field or by separate email so we can confirm the intended shipping date.
As you will expect, we do not compromise quality to fill an order early. We are sure you will be delighted with your product after receiving it and consider a small wait worthwhile if this happens to be the case. We do however keep you informed as to how your custom set is progressing by regular email from our shipping department.
We are shipping our products worldwide and provide tracking references by email where available.
Most orders will be shipped according to that ordered by you i.e. UPS or USPS, however, we reserve the right to select an alternate carrier to meet the specific needs of the order including delivery to PO Box #'s or where the package weight is so small that USPS Priority becomes more cost-effective. If you're unhappy with a specific delivery charge then please place your order by email and we'll be pleased to assist and offer further options. We base shipping charges on product weight, package size, insurance cost and shipping zone. The individual product shipping charges are automatically calculated before you checkout.
Should you wish to place a large order and feel that alternative shipping arrangements may be more suitable for you, (such as freight collect) then we are most happy to consider your needs.
Due to continued surcharges applied by our own shippers, we reserve the right to amend these prices and the choice of shipper without notice. Customers who order from us will be contacted by email should any change in these become necessary, prior to us shipping any goods ordered. In addition if an order is shipped to an incorrectly specified address we reserve the right to require payment for the additional charges incurred.
Overseas Orders- please note.
We gladly accept orders from overseas customers and are happy to ship to countries beyond the US territories. We have many satisfied customers particularly as many of our products aren't available locally or are much more expensive to buy locally. However, customers should be aware that they are personally responsible for any customs duties, sales taxes, brokerage fees or other charges levied by the country of import concerned. Please therefore accept that the price you pay when purchasing online from our store may not be the final price payable.

NO Handling Charges
There are NO handling charges applied to each order on shipping. You only pay actual delivery costs we absorb the packaging and handling costs in our sales margin.
